After years of working as a public art coordinator for Hank Willis Thomas, I started the production management company Negative Space in response to the pandemic’s dramatic effects on how we interact and a growing need for more public art.
Taken from a principle in drawing and design, Negative Space seeks to work in the space behind the scenes through a foundation built on inclusivity and empathy, helping socially engaged artists and organizations to produce contemporary public artworks that strive to advance social justice.
